Welcome to Year 6! 

Our curriculum

We have a geography focus this half term as we learn about sustainability, habitats and endangered species. We will use our English texts to learn more about the king of the cats - tigers!

PE will take place on Tuesday afternoons with Pat & Andy and on Thursday mornings doing yoga with Mrs Oldman. Children should come to school wearing their PE kit on these days.

Homework will be set on a Thursday. It should be returned by the following Wednesday. It will be put on our Google classroom page. You will have the option each week to complete your homework online or in your homework book. 

The best way that you can practise your learning at home is by reading daily as much as possible. We have a fantastic selection of books in school. How many can you read this year?
