Our curriculum

Welcome back to Year 6! We have an exciting term ahead of us. This half term, we learn about endangered animals like the tiger through our English texts. In History and Shared Reading, we consider the history of the British Empire and how this influenced the Atlantic Slave Trade. 

PE will take place on Tuesdays (SR Sports) and Fridays (Mrs Oldman). Please wear your PE kit to school on these days.

Homework will be set on a Friday. It should be returned by the following Thursday. It will be set on our Google classroom page. You will have the option each week to complete your homework online or in your homework book. 

The best way that you can practise your learning at home is by reading daily as much as possible. We have a fantastic selection of books in school. How many can you read this year?
