Our curriculum

Welcome to Year 6! We have an exciting year ahead of us. This half term has a history focus as we learn about what life was like in Britain during World War 2. We explore some great texts in English that show us the war experience for a range of characters. 

PE will take place on Wednesdays (dance with House of Dance) and Fridays (netball with Mrs Oldman). Please wear your PE kit to school on these days.

Homework will be set on a Friday. It should be returned by the following Thursday. It will be set on our Google classroom page. You will have the option each week to complete your homework online or in your homework book. 

The best way that you can practise your learning at home is by reading daily as much as possible. We have a fantastic selection of books in school. How many can you read this year?
